The purpose of this course is to be your guide through a reflexive exploration of your skills. Specifically, you will be invited to reflect on the skills you have that shape your professional identity, and to explore the job market – both inside and outside the academic community- in order to define your professional development goals.

To get the most out of this course, we recommend that you keep the word “participation” in mind. Together with your fellow doctoral students, use the forum to build a learning community, sharing resources, views and opinions.

This for-credit course is fully available for distance learning. The workload is approximately 45 hours spread over 15 weeks. You have the flexibility to complete the course modules at your own pace. However, as you are expected to interact with your peers throughout the session, we encourage you to consult the forum and contribute frequently.
