Discovering Old Québec City

The Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (FESP) invites postdoctoral fellows from Université Laval to the free activity “Discovering Old Québec”, on Saturday March 29, 2025.

Accompanied by a passionate guide, discover the history, culture and architecture of Old Quebec, this unique district included on the prestigious UNESCO world heritage list.

The activity will be followed by a free networking dinner at the Érablière du Lac-Beauport, where you will enjoy an authentic Quebec heritage meal.

Transportation 

Transportation is free.

Schedule

• 9:00 a.m.: Departure by bus from campus
• 9:20 a.m.: Stop in front of the Parliament of Quebec
• 9:20 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.: Guided tour of Old Quebec (on foot)
• 12:00 p.m.: Departure by bus from Petit Champlain to the Lac Beauport maple grove
• 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.: Networking dinner at the l’Érablière du Lac-Beauport
• 3:00 p.m.: Return to Campus

Registration fee

A deposit of $40 refundable after participation in the activity is required.
